The spa cover is an extra-heavy duty 15 mil thickness. This item really helps keep the heat in and prolong the life of your hard cover. The blanket is meant to lay on the water, you just trim to fit with scissors to match the curves of your spa! This is meant to be used in conjunction with your hard spa cover.
